STUFF TO KNOW
- Bathrooms are flush toilets
- Site I get at Guelph Lake has a family of (friendly) skunks that hunt for bugs on the site each night. Don't freak out if you see them -- they will leave you alone unless you spook them.
- Try to fully charge your phone beforehand. We can also charge on drive. Or if needed we can charge on camp site (may require some minimal work)
- This is city camping -- your phone should work just fine.
- This is city camping, there will be other people in the general vicinity
- This is city camping, there is security that drives around the park every 2 hours or so.
- shouldn't be many bugs this late in the season, but could be some
- Food should NOT go in the tent as it will attract wildlife. Not such a big deal deal for city camping -- racoons and skunks are fairly tame, but you don't want tent/sleeping bag etc smelling like food while camping in bear territory. :)
- I will leave the car unlocked over night so you can store food or other stuff in the car and access snacks.
- I am a light sleeper so if you need anything while I'm asleep just call my name and I will likely hear/wake up.
- If you would prefer to share a tent that is fine - I just want you to have the option of having your own space.
- If you are worried or concerned about anything, please feel free to let me know your concerns, and if there is anything I can do to alleviate those concerns.
